Hice Wellness

Social Wellness

Social wellness at HICE HQ in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, we believe social wellness is about far more than recovery. While our Finnish sauna, ice baths and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) help people recover, relax and perform at their best, what truly sets HICE HQ apart is the community we’ve built around them.

HICE HQ is a social wellness club, a place where people come together to improve their physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection. In a world where more people work remotely, spend hours behind screens or train alone, we’ve created a welcoming environment where conversations happen naturally, friendships are formed and everyone feels part of something bigger.

Social Space Designed for Everyone

HICE HQ has been designed to be a place where people want to spend time, whether that’s recovering after training, working remotely from our coffee area, meeting friends for a coffee, taking part in one of our community wellness events or simply enjoying the welcoming atmosphere.

Our speciality coffee area sits at the heart of HICE HQ, creating a relaxed environment where people can work remotely, catch up with friends or simply unwind before or after a recovery session. With free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating and a calm atmosphere, it’s a space that combines productivity, wellbeing and community under one roof.

We’re proud to serve ARKED Coffee, a premium Yorkshire speciality coffee roasted with quality and sustainability in mind. Whether you’re enjoying a perfectly crafted flat white, espresso or one of our popular iced matcha drinks, our café offers another reason to stay, socialise and enjoy everything HICE HQ has to offer.

More than just a coffee area, it’s where conversations begin, friendships are formed and our community comes together. Many visitors arrive for a recovery session and stay for a coffee, while others simply drop in to work, meet friends or enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. It’s this combination of wellness, productivity and social connection that makes HICE HQ a unique social wellness destination in West Yorkshire.

Community Wellness Events

Community sits at the heart of everything we do. Throughout the year, HICE HQ hosts a growing programme of wellness events that are open to everyone, whether you’re a regular visitor or joining us for the very first time. Our aim is to create experiences that help people move more, relax more, connect with others and improve their overall wellbeing.

Our guided breathwork sessions, delivered in partnership with THE SPXCE, teach practical breathing techniques that can help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, improve focus and promote relaxation. These immersive sessions provide a calm and supportive environment where participants can learn valuable tools to take into everyday life.

We’re also proud to host regular Pilates classes with Elethea, helping people improve mobility, flexibility, posture and core strength. Suitable for all abilities, these sessions provide a welcoming atmosphere where movement becomes both enjoyable and social.

Our sound bath experiences offer another opportunity to slow down and disconnect from the pressures of modern life. Using immersive sound and guided relaxation, these sessions encourage mindfulness, stress reduction and deep relaxation while bringing people together in a peaceful setting.

For those who enjoy being active outdoors, our planned run club events welcome runners of every ability from across Brighouse, Halifax and West Yorkshire. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, preparing for your next race or simply looking to meet new people, everyone is encouraged to join. Many runners stay afterwards for a coffee or a recovery session, making every run a genuine social experience.

Every event hosted at HICE HQ is open to the wider community. You don’t need to be a member to attend our guided breathwork sessions with THE SPXCE, Pilates classes with Elethea, sound bath experiences or planned run club events. Our goal is to create an inclusive social wellness space where everyone feels welcome, whether you’re visiting for a recovery session, working remotely from our coffee area or attending one of our community events for the first time.

To make it easy to get involved, all of our social wellness events are announced across the HICE HQ social media platforms. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with upcoming events, new collaborations and community experiences. Whether you’re joining us for your first breathwork session, Pilates class, sound bath experience or planned run club event, you’ll always find the latest event information, booking details and announcements across our social channels.

Building a Stronger Community

Research consistently shows that meaningful social connection plays an important role in supporting mental wellbeing, reducing stress and improving long-term health. That’s why community is just as important to us as recovery.

People don’t simply visit HICE HQ for a sauna session or ice bath. Many come to work remotely from our coffee area, meet friends, enjoy great coffee, attend one of our wellness events or spend time in a welcoming environment that encourages conversation and connection. Every visit offers an opportunity to become part of a growing community that values health, wellbeing and genuine human interaction.

If you’re looking for wellness events in Brighouse, guided breathwork, Pilates, sound bath experiences, planned run club events, contrast therapy, Finnish sauna sessions or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in West Yorkshire, HICE HQ offers something truly different.

At HICE HQ, wellbeing is better when it’s shared. Whether you’re joining us for recovery, coffee, remote working or one of our community events, you’ll always receive a warm welcome. We look forward to helping you become part of our growing social wellness community in Brighouse.
