Searching for Coffee in Halifax? HICE HQ x Arked

Coffee Halifax

HICE is built around recovery, and recovery doesn’t stop the moment you get out of the water. Our coffee and social space in Brighouse is part of that, a place to sit, warm up properly and let the session settle before you head back out.

Why We Serve Arked

searching coffee Halifax? Our coffee bar runs on Arked, roasted in Yorkshire rather than shipped in from somewhere with no connection to where we are. It matters to us that what we serve after a session is made properly and made close to home, the same standard we hold the rest of the studio to.

A Complementary Part Of The Session, Not An Add On

Contrast therapy asks a lot of your nervous system in a short space of time. The period straight afterwards, sitting still and warm and unhurried with a proper coffee in hand, is when a lot of that settling actually happens. Rushing out of the door straight after the cold plunge undoes some of the benefit. The coffee bar is there so that doesn’t have to happen. It’s social wellness working alongside physical recovery, not competing with it.

A Genuine Community Hub In Brighouse l Coffee Halifax

Over the past couple of years, the coffee area has become somewhere members who’d never otherwise cross paths, shift workers, athletes, retirees, people on a lunch break, end up talking over an Arked coffee. Regulars know each other by name. New members often say it’s the coffee area, not the ice bath, that made them feel like they belonged.
